Submitted by The News Guy on Tue, 12/22/2009 - 9:34am.In the works for the new year is antique auctions. Sometime in January we will be introducing antique auction listings to our site. They will be in the exact same format as the antique shows and you'll be able to search by area, map, get directions and see weather for the auction events. We feel that auctions, along with the antique shows and dealers, round out the buyer's experience. I will keep you posted!!

A new hat for the News Guy
Submitted by The News Guy on Mon, 11/30/2009 - 2:25pm.Originally, it was set up so that I (the News Guy) would be reporting on Antique news, news that would interest our visitors. I feel that I have a pretty good feel for antique news and hope that you will agree. Anyway, I kinda got away from that and my blog became more of a "site news" blog. There is certainly a place for this type of news and, from the feedback that I've received, I feel that our visitors appreciate the heads up on new site developments. But to mix antique news with site news just muddles everything so we've decides to make 2 completely different blogs. read more of this post »
Some new things we're working on with Facebook
Submitted by The News Guy on Thu, 11/19/2009 - 12:21pm.We're working very hard with facebook to add some new functions that will let you to seamlessly integrate and share content and comments between our sites and your friends. Keep an eye open for some fun changes when this all happens.
We're also looking into a new program with Google that we think could revolutionize the way people work on the web. It's called Google Wave and one of developers even thinks that, in time, some of what is offered with "Wave" will replace email as we know it. WOW, hmmmm!
A couple of new ways to keep notes.
Submitted by The News Guy on Thu, 11/19/2009 - 12:12pm.As you know, you can keep personal notes on blog posts, events and groups. We have now added the ability to keep notes on the antique dealers and the new eBay vendors. This seems like a no brainer on our part but we had to do some final testing and it's all good now and there are plenty of ways you can use the notes for the dealers. Just look for the "Notepad" tab at the top of the page content, or at the bottom, look for the link that says "add personal notes"
* you must be logged in to see these functions.

Pardon our dust
Submitted by The News Guy on Tue, 09/15/2009 - 4:24pm.Hmm, don't you hate when you go to a web site and you see under construction or something like that? Well, you won't see any under construction signs but over the next couple of days you may see some strange things going on in the antique shows areas. The anomalies are very hard to detect but they're there while we implement a few more useful tools for our users. So pardon our slight messiness for just a couple of days... thanks!
