TAG points, what are they?

So what are those TAG points that pop up from time to time? And what can they do for you? And why are you telling me this now?

TAG points are user points given to registered users for particular functions on our site. They can be used for redemption on user role upgrades, contests or other items.

As many of you know, our web site is relatively new, being officially launched in February of this year. While TAG points have been implemented from the start and registered users have been able to collect them, there hasn't been an official explanation or usage of these mysterious points.

A full explanation of user points and how you can collect them can now be found at this link.

As you may have read in my previous posts we will be introducing eBay listings for Antique dealers very soon and we know that many our users have eBay stores. We have decided that our users should also be able to include their eBay stores in our listings. The monthly cost to include an eBay store will be $3.00 but you can also upgrade your account for free to use this service by earning TAG points. When the eBay program is introduced over the next week or so we will let you know exactly how many TAG points will be needed to upgrade. Concurrently, with the introduction of the eBay listings, we will also introduce a remarkably easy affiliates program that will allow anyone to participate and, of course, the affiliates program will be an easy way to earn TAG points. Look for announcements of the eBay listings, the affiliate program and an update to the TAG points explained page which will include more on how many points can be earned with the affiliates program.
