Militaria

Collectors usually pick one particular era of interest, certain wars or conflicts. Third Reich, Japanese, WWI, WWII or other American conflicts are popular, as well as, relics from the Civil War. Military records, flags, metals and "vet pickups" are always sought.

There are two broad categories of original owners: the actual owners of the equipment as it was issued, and the soldiers who ended up taking the equipment away from its original owners. These later examples are often referred to as "vet pickups" and the equipment is generally enemy equipment.
